Who we are?
Kannada Sangha Hong Kong (KSHK) is a non-profit organization representing people from Karnataka / Kannadiga community in and around Hong Kong for over a decade. It is a cultural and social organization formed in 2005 and has close to 300 members.
KSHK was formed with a purpose to propagate Karnataka culture, Kannada language and art forms among Kannadigas and other like-minded people.It is probably the first such Kannada organization in the entire greater China geography!
What we do?
Community service: Education is the key to reduce poverty at the individual level and help nation building at the macro level. Hence, KSHK and its members enable organizations in India working with is-advantaged children to pursue education. In this endeavor we monitor the selected organizations and every dollar raised by us is spent on socially relevant work.
Cultural service: Each year KSHK successfully blends exquisite regional specialty events with renowned artists,staging world -class music, dance and various art events. We aim to expand, sustain and manage our community service to our best endeavor.
